7th Graders Learn About Flash Judgements
Last week our 7th grade students participated in the Flash Judgments Program. Flash Judgments is a program designed to help students understand the judgments that we can make about people based upon their appearances and first impressions. The program was facilitated by Century's Peer Leaders, 8th and 9th grade Student Counsel and SADD members. The Peer Leaders underwent a week of training prior to presenting the Flash Judgments Program. The program helped students to identify how they use their flash judgments (first impressions) to relate to people. Students had an opportunity to learn about their own first impressions and how they effect their relationships with their peers.
